A lovely O'Day 280, Cool Change knows her way around the world renowned Florida waterways.  She is light and sporty. And with her 2'11" shoal draft she can take you places other sailboats have to look at from afar.

Cool Change has traveled all the way down the Eastern seaboard from Rhode Island to Cape Canaveral. Cool Change has taken numerous trips to the Bahamas, and has also made the crossing through the Lake Okeechobee Waterway.

Cool Change has good all around capability. The wing keel makes for a low center of gravity while keeping the draft very shallow. A blessing in the everchanging waters around Florida's bays. Add to that an inboard diesel giving it reliability and range, a proper head, berths for four, a suitable galley, and you find quite a lot in a 28 foot package.
